Bro. Andrew Scott is the current chapter advisor for the Nu Beta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Beyond advising, he currently works for the Atlanta Housing Authority and is a proud member of the Lambda Sigma Graduate Chapter. His hard work and dedication to this chapter does not go unnoticed. Bro. Scott does a tremendous amount of work for us and helps us out any way that he can. He is at all the events supporting us and cheering us on and makes sure that we are not making any mistakes. He points us in the right direction and guides us to become an excellent chapter year after year.
Phillip Blackwell is a 4th-year Chemical Engineering Major at Georgia Tech from Stockbridge GA and will be graduating this summer. After school, he will eventually attend medical school to become a Pediatrician. Phillip is also the Academic Excellence Chair for NSB. He also loves the arts and choreographs steps for our Chapter as well as various other groups at his church and sings in the choir. Davy is a 3rd year Computer Science from Lyon, France, aiming to graduate in the spring of 2021. After school, he will be pursuing a career in Software Engineer and working towards a Master’s degree. On campus he is involved in GreyH@t Information Security Club, Minorities@CC and the Barbell Club. Kieran Robert Lane is a 4th-year Electrical Engineering major from Coffee High School in Douglas, Ga and will be graduating in the Spring of 21. Kieran is a Georgia Tech Promise Scholar as well as a Gates Millennium Scholar. After school, he plans on entering the entertainment industry or the renewable energy industry. He is also currently on track to receive a Certificate in Marketing from the Scheller College of Business. Ryan Davison is a 4th-year mechanical engineering major from Princeton New Jersey and will be graduating in December 2021. Ryan is involved in several student organizations including NSBE, AASU, and GT Motorsports. He also works in the Communications Lab in Clough as a student assistant and assistant marketing director. Ryan is a huge motorsports fan and car guy in general. You can catch him cheering on the Mercedes AMG F1 team on race days. After school, he plans to enter the automotive or motorsports industry. Robert Freeman is a 3rd year Computer Science from the southside Chatham area of Chicago, Illinois, and will be graduating in the spring of 2021. After school, he plans on seeking a software engineering position in the bay area. Robert is a class of 2021 MLT Career Prep Fellow and the Pre Collegiate Initiative Chair of Georgia Tech Society of Black Engineers. He enjoys running and playing basketball in his free time. Jadon is a 2nd-year Mechanical Engineering major from Snellville GA and will be graduating in the Spring of 2022. In school, he is involved in NSBE, ASME, and AASU. In his free time, Jadon enjoys watching videos about engineering and robotics and playing sports, such as football and soccer. He is also a Dean’s List and Faculty Honors Scholar. Alton Stovall is a 3rd-year Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech from Memphis, TN and will be graduating in the fall of 2021. After school, he plans on joining the industry as a Software Engineer with the eventual goal of transitional to a managerial/leadership role. Alton is a 2019 Forbes Under 30 Scholar, an Undergraduate Representative in SGA and a student assistant for the Georgia Tech College of Computing. Thomas is a 5th-year Finance major from Concord NH and will be graduating in the fall of 2019. After school, he will be starting work with PNC Wealth Management in hopes to become one of the top wealth advisors in the country. Thomas is a big athlete who loves to play golf, tennis, baseball, and basketball. He is also a big New York Yankees, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots fan. Lastly, Thomas was the 19th member inducted into the Honorary A.L. Loche Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.! Russell Dawkins Jr. is a senior computer engineering major from Decatur, Georgia and will be graduating in December 2019. After school, he will be working full time and pursuing his master’s degree. Throughout his time at Tech, Russell has done corporately sponsored research, completed 2 internships, served as the NPHC Secretary, Director of Social Action for Sigma, and the Director of Bigger and Better Business. He has also served on the Greek Life Experience Taskforce. In his spare time, Russell enjoys bike-riding, playing basketball, cooking, weight-lifting, and spending quality time with friends and family.
